Your privacy matters to us more than almost anything else about this site. This Privacy Policy explains, in plain language, what information we do and do not collect, how our tools handle your photos, and the choices you have. The most important thing to know up front is simple: your photos never leave your device.
We built our face tools to run entirely inside your browser. When you upload a photo to the attractiveness test, age guesser, face shape detector, or face rater, the analysis happens on your own device. Your image is never uploaded to our servers, never stored, and never shared with anyone. When you close the tab, the photo is gone. We couldn't retrieve it even if we wanted to, because we never received it in the first place.
This is the core of our privacy commitment, so it's worth explaining clearly. Traditional photo tools upload your image to a remote server, process it there, and send back a result. That approach requires trusting the company with your face. We chose a different model. Our tools use client-side technology, meaning the code that analyses your photo downloads to your browser and runs locally. The photo you select is read directly by your own device and is never transmitted to us. There is no upload step, no server-side copy, and no database of user images — because none of that exists.
We do not require you to create an account, and we do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or any other personal identifier to use the tools. We do not collect your photos. We do not build a profile of you. We do not track you across other websites. If you never contact us directly, we never receive any personal information that identifies you.
To keep the site running well, we may collect a small amount of non-identifying, aggregate information through privacy-friendly analytics. This can include things like which pages are visited, roughly how many people visit, which country region traffic comes from at a broad level, and which browser or device type is common. This data is statistical and does not identify you as an individual. We use it only to understand which tools are popular, spot technical problems, and improve the site.
If you email us, we will of course have whatever information you choose to include in your message, such as your email address and the content of your note. We use that solely to reply to you and to help with your request.
We may use a small number of cookies for basic site functionality and for the anonymous analytics described above. Cookies are tiny text files stored by your browser. The ones we might use do not store your photos or personal identity. You can control or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings, though some basic features may work less smoothly if essential cookies are disabled. To run the face analysis in your browser, our tools download a face-detection model and supporting code from a public content delivery network (CDN). A CDN is simply a fast, reliable way to serve files like scripts. When your browser fetches these files, the CDN provider may see standard technical request information, such as your IP address, as happens with any file your browser loads from the internet. Importantly, your photo is not part of this process — only the analysis code is downloaded, and your image stays on your device the entire time.
We may also use a reputable analytics provider to gather the aggregate, non-identifying statistics mentioned earlier. We choose providers that respect user privacy, and we do not sell or trade any data.
Any limited information we collect is used for a small set of clear purposes: to operate and maintain the website, to understand general usage patterns so we can improve our tools, to diagnose and fix technical issues, and to respond to messages you send us. We do not use your information for advertising profiles, and we do not sell it to anyone. Full stop.
Because we don't collect or store your photos, there is no image database to secure or breach — which is the strongest security measure of all. For the limited operational data we do handle, we take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect it against loss, misuse, and unauthorised access. No method of transmission over the internet is ever completely secure, but our privacy-first design dramatically reduces the amount of sensitive data at play in the first place.
Our tools are intended for users aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over any personal data a website holds about you, such as the right to access, correct, or delete it. Because we collect so little — and nothing that identifies you unless you email us — there is usually very little for us to act on. If you have emailed us and would like us to delete your message and email address from our records, just ask, and we will.
You can also exercise privacy choices directly in your browser: clear cookies, use private browsing, or block scripts. Our tools are designed to respect these choices as much as possible.
Our tools work the same way everywhere: the analysis runs on your device wherever you are. Any limited operational data may be processed in the country where our service providers operate, but again, this does not include your photos.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our tools, technology, or legal requirements. When we do, we'll revise the "last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to check back occasionally so you're always aware of how we protect your privacy.
